A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MEDICAL ASSISTANT

As a Medical Assistant, you are an immense support to our nurse practitioner. Each day, you travel the county in our mobile clinic, bringing compassionate care wherever you go. When visiting a patient, you cheerfully greet them and collect their information. You then assist the nurse practitioner with the procedures each patient needs, performing wound care, removing bandages, and applying fresh ones. In addition, you act as a scribe for the NP throughout the procedure so that important details are captured.

Among other duties, you perform charting in our EMR (electronic medical record), schedule appointments, and tackle any other tasks that need to be addressed. Your goal is to provide quality patient care, and you do whatever you can to ensure that we deliver exactly that. You enjoy that every day is different as you meet new faces and see new places. Most of all, you love serving our patients in a kind and thoughtful way!

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certified Medical Assistant or one-year Medical Assistant experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

WORK SCHEDULE

This traveling position works a flexible schedule between the typical hours of 9 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday.
